I think that since they took over 3 years ago the 49ers (and Daniel Farke) have shown incredible astuteness in the transfer market. They’ve stuck to the financial rules and suffered only one real setback at the 2024 play-off final - although even that may have been too early to go up. If these 4 signings improve the team in the positions where they should, then with the spirit and quality of players that we already have we should be in for an exciting season. Can’t wait!
@JVMonte2 There was a face on a hoarding that someone had drawn on
And just enough time for the night to pass by without warning
Away in the distance there's a blue flashing light
Someone's in trouble somewhere tonight

Enquiries Concerning the Thermoelectric Behaviour of Dental Amalgams
The widespread adoption of metal amalgams for use in restorative dentistry in the modern era began in the first half of the nineteenth century. I believe it may be argued that this was quickly followed by the rise to prominence of psychiatric medicine in our societies.
Towards the end of 1992 I wrote a series of five letters enquiring about the thermoelectric behaviour of metal dental fillings. Reconstructions of these letters can be viewed via the Academia website at:

In 1995 Norway began a trial phase-out of the use of dental amalgams which eventually culminated in 2008 with a near total ban. During subsequent years the use of dental amalgams has also been phased out in a number other countries, such as Sweden, Denmark and Lithuania.
These events should have provided the ideal opportunity for studies of an epidemiological nature to be carried out in order to determine whether there has been any corresponding reduction in the incidence of neurological and/or psychiatric disorders in those countries.
In early 2024 the European Union suddenly announced that a complete ban on the use of dental amalgams in the EU would come into effect on January 1, 2025; and also that companies within the EU would no longer be allowed to manufacture the components of dental amalgams for distribution to anywhere else in the world.
It made me wonder if someone had finally examined the data.
It is now more than thirty-three years since the letters presented at the above link were first distributed, and it appears that the dental profession is still completely ignorant of the thermoelectric behaviour of metal dental restorations. (Remember there is no electrolysis involved.)
I believe that this constitutes a failure on the part of the dental profession to comply with the principles of the scientific method.
