@loudibella@snboxing Not a hot take....Bowe particularly for a heavyweight was a great infighter....if he sticks to a gameplan and don't let pride get in the way....he wins
@AdamsBoxingShow At 6'1 and that power hard not to choose Tommy. That said he would have to fight a disciplined fight every second. For me its whoever has the most energy in late rounds. Tommy can't fall in love with his power early
@SteveBoxman We didn't know how special James was in the 90's. 1991 fought 6 times....SIX!!!!Three of those opponents were Michael Nunn, Reggie Johnson and Mike McCallum. A toast to James
@Super70sSports At 13 Ric Flair, but all time the Brooklyn Brawler! Always rooted for the underdog. Once bet big on him vs the Rock. As Krusty the Clown says I thought he was due. Big mistake
@Gabriel_Montoya Isn't this an issue of fraudulent claims, not access to health care? I have compassion for them, but along the lines of not having financial literacy to manage the money they made and resorting to this. We should start teaching this in grade school
@Woodsy1069@triller@trillerfight Of course he's been through wars and had no business in the ring.. but he was outta there in one.. my point is it wasn't prolonged could of been a lot worse with his courage/heart
@HammadYusuf3 Evander would always have his number
That said HW Evander pre Douglas would of likely lost. Not ready 2 small
I see Mike catching Evander with a good shot...Evander thinking I'll show you, and walking into a shot
Vander seemed to let payback cloud his judgment at times
@HammadYusuf3 I read Evander or Don Turner say they prepped by watching Douglas
Buster offset Mikes rhythm by subtly moving whenever Mike dipped left, a telltale sign of a left hook
Both would offset Mike then counter to further keep him at bay.
Had to rewatch both fights to notice ๐ค
@HammadYusuf3 I remember most...I mean everyone including myself thinking Don put Vander up as an easy night work
I mean after those wars with Bowe, who thought he would get past 2rds.
Watching that live was surreal
@LouStagner Crossing the line at these events must end
That said people are fixated on the word brooksie & while mocking does that cross the line, esp. when compared to other sports
Golf has always been viewed as the genteel game, wonder how long that can last, esp. when growing the game
@SteveBoxman May seem like a weird choice but Henry Armstrong. 180 fights & over 20 losses. "Only" won championships in three weight classes. By today's standards that wouldn't be impressive as Broner has won belts in like 4
@PaigeSpiranac There's such a reality TV vibe to it. He made a face, He called me brooksey. The real golfers of the PGA tour I guess. At the end of the day as long as people tune in its good for the bottom line. Inevitably good golf eclipses any drama, so purists have no need to worry
@SteveKim323 Ric Flair (when it was evil to flaunt wealth)
Bobby the brain Heenan (the weasal)
Detroit Pistons (bulls fans esp.)
Cobra Kai (they swept the leg)
