We were excited to be a part of Glenn Metalcraft's (GMI's) groundbreaking for their new 140,000 sq ft facility (GM Keith Butcher, GMI's Joe Glenn, PUC Richard Schwartz, PUC Jack Edmonds, PUC Dan Erickson, Water Superintendent Scott Schmit, and GMI's Dan Patnode). #PublicPower
Water Superintendent Scott Schmit was a guest speaker recently at the Princeton High School. Along with the Minnesota Rural Water Association, they showed that water and water treatment is interesting.
Students brought in water from home and tested it themselves.
Princeton Public Utilities Commission and Staff participated in a tour of the Sherco Power Plant in Becker, MN. The plant, co-owned by SMMPA and Xcel Energy, supplies power to many MN communities including Princeton. Thanks to SMMPA for hosting! #PublicPower

As a Public Power entity, Princeton Public Utilities is governed by customers just like you. The 2023 Commission is: Chair Richard Schwartz, Vice-Chair Dan Erickson, and Commissioner Jack Edmonds.
As we close out one year and look forward to the next, the staff at PPU are proud to be a part of Public Power, a nationwide effort to provide reliable, affordable, and sustainable power to our communities. #PublicPower
