I witnessed something beautiful at St. Charles Lwanga Bukerere Cerebral Palsy Day Care & Rehabilitation Centre.

A simple shade to shelter children from the sun. Wheelchairs to give them greater mobility and independence. But beyond these gifts was something even more powerful. LOVE

To @SondeRotary and our partners at the @MinofHealthUG , thank you for seeing these children, standing with their families, and choosing compassion over indifference.

Moments like these remind me why Rotary exists. When we come together, we restore dignity, bring comfort, and give hope.

Celebrating Women Leaders Who Are Shaping the Future. We’re proud to congratulate the outstanding women leaders from our organization who completed the 2026 Women Leadership Program, organized by the Uganda Institute of Banking and Financial Services (@ibfsUg ). Alongside 53 other graduates, they joined the program focused on building intentional, resilient, and impactful female leaders.

The program equipped participants with the skills, mindset, and strategic vision needed to succeed as leaders. Graduates developed practical leadership plans to make a real difference in their organizations and communities. As we celebrate women who are advancing leadership, here is what our graduates had to say:

Allen emphasized the importance of confidence and self-expression: “There is no medal in hiding your brilliance. Live life fully.” She completed the program more determined than ever to influence, inspire, and make a lasting impact.

Dorcus highlighted the value of preparation and knowledge: “As women in leadership, we need to lead with information and data. Read, research, and stay knowledgeable about the spaces you step into.”

Linda shared that the program reminded her of the importance of leading by example, with integrity and strong character: “I am leaving with the intention to implement what God has placed me in position to do and lead with purpose where He has placed me.”
