I’m 100% sure the loser will not yell foul, and will accept the result. Bravo Finland! Oh, and one more thing you can be sure of: none of the candidates in this country will praise Putin. I only wish I could say all of this about the upcoming elections in the country of my birth.

There has been zero talk of "rigged" elections or "witch hunts", none of the candidates demonized each other, no violence nor insurrection. I am 100% confident of, it is that when all is said and done, there will be a peaceful transfer of power, no matter who wins.

I am very proud of the way my adopted country has conducted its presidential elections so far. And while we still have the second round before us, the turnout for the first round was almost 75%, which speaks for the power of the Finnish democratic process.

My Ukrainian friends are saying that Russian negotiators are asking for the following concessions to stop the war:

1. Change the constitution to declare Ukraineca neutral country

2. Recognize the annexation of Crimea

3. Give up Donetsk
