I agree!! AJ will stay in Utah he likes it here and when he’s an Allstar he wills stay. The others good chance they head to a bigger more diverse city. Hate to say it but the only guys who stay in small markets are the foreign guys. I could be wrong but it’s the best chance
I’m dead ass serious - the Jazz gotta offer every draft pick they own to Washington.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for them to get a superstar talent that wants to be in Utah.
They’ve literally never had a chance like this before.
They gotta make it happen. Get to 1
The DOJ has ONE WEEK left to charge Anthony Fauci for the worst cover-up in modern medical history.
He lied to Congress about funding gain-of-function research in Wuhan. Millions died. Trillions were spent. And Fauci walked away with book deals and fawning media coverage instead of handcuffs. I re-upped my criminal referral to the DOJ because the evidence is overwhelming, and justice has been delayed long enough.
RT if you’re ready to see Fauci behind bars.
@For3JT How is it different? They are leaving for more money right? You can spin it how you want but they were trying to maximize there financial career it’s the same here. You all would have done the same thing trying to maximize your earnings!!
@erc95@GoodmanHoops I don’t have an answer but unfortunately every employer pays more to bring guys in that retain them. Not sure why but it’s not just limited so college sports.
@For3JT So if they transfer in there senior year is it different? Also your LDS and married to an LDS girl none of these guys are in that situation. We hired them to come play ball the promise somehow BYU will take care of them in future is just not practical there would be 100 a year
@jlinehan9 Justify it but it’s the same. So BYu is a competitor with the 350 or so D1 schools I bet there aren’t 350 tech company’s at the point of the mountain and you left because it was better for you!! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for these kids!! They have to take it
@jacksonemery04 The portal was the NCAA trying to control it and like everything they control it’s broken. Contract law is the right route but that would remove the NCAA and they don’t like it & I don’t think anything changes because why would a kid sign a multi year deal if a they don’t have 2
@erc95 I am willing to bet he is offered more by BYU in the portal than he was out of it! I could be wrong and it worked last time he had a deal with Baylor and then got more in the portal. The pressure to keep him in Provo will be immense losing him and Richie and AJ is a big issue!
@erc95 How else do you do it? The best leverage is im leaving and when your window is only 2 years it’s really hard. Now if we are going to say the community will step up how about Sorenson says complete your education at BYU and we will offer you a jr partnership?
@jlinehan9 Yes it’s like athletes are people in a career looking to maximize there financial incentives. I don’t think anyone in silicon slopes leaves a job for a better paying job. This is definitely new! lol
@collinsworth55 How would a big play at BYU with the ISO dominant offensive philosophy let alone the way we play the pick and role defensively? We don’t pass the ball or pass it inside for a post touch.
