Also they're complex characters, not literal archetypes, they both make mistakes, learn from them and eventually grow as people. That's what makes a story meaningful and worth reading. You can't have characters that are perfect from the start, what'll even be the point in that.

I haven't read a single jikook fic where Tae is portrayed as the villan. He's always bestfriends with either Jimin or Jungkook. I think that's really sweet. But I have read some popular taekook fics and they have a tendency to portray Jimin as the villan or in a negative light.
