The US men's national soccer team is being subjected to the same kind of legalized plunder that defines too many divorce proceedings in this country.

After grinding through qualifiers, earning their spot in the World Cup, and generating the massive FIFA payout that only the men's game can produce ($12.8 million in this case), the players are now forced to hand over a huge chunk of that money to the women's team under the "equal pay" collective bargaining agreement.

The women didn't play a single minute of those matches, didn't draw the crowds, didn't sell the tickets, and didn't create the revenue - yet they still get a cut of the men's prize money while the reverse transfer remains a fraction. Yes the women are more successful (having won the Women's World Cup several times) but the prize is much smaller. Why? It reflects differences in global interest, sponsorship, viewership and actual performance.

This is all under the guise of "parity" between "equivalent work." But in reality, it's more like subsidizing one program with the output of the other, just like the ex-spouse cashing checks from earnings she didn't generate.

"Equal pay" sounds noble until you realize it erases differences in market value, risk, audience draw, and results. It disincentivizes excellence on the men's side (why push harder if your windfall gets redistributed?) and removes pressure on the women's side to grow their own commercial appeal.

Like divorce settlements that trap high-earners in perpetual support roles, this policy treats men's soccer as a piggy bank for "fairness," not a business rewarding what fans and sponsors actually value.

🚨#BREAKING: Firefighters in Wisconsin are hailing 5 teenage boys as HEROES after they BUSTED DOWN A DOOR TO A BURNING HOME to save a 91-year-old elderly couple and their family on July 4th.

When firefighters arrived, they discovered the boys had already rescued ALL SIX PEOPLE inside the home.

According to investigators, the boys noticed what they thought was a bonfire from their home.

As they walked closer, they saw a home was on fire and started banging on the doors and windows and heard people yelling.

The group of boys BROKE DOWN THE DOOR, ran into the home, called out for the victims and rescued all them.

BREAKING: DOT confirms to us that the truck driver who allegedly kiIIed 21-year-old UMass goalie and rising soccer star Tobias Forsythe, FAILED AN ENGLISH PROFICIENCY TEST.

The driver was Uzbek national Bekhzod Asrarov.

DOT tells me he FAILED an English language proficiency test and couldn’t understand officers when they arrived at the scene of the crash.

He was granted a CDL in Ohio.

Pénelopé představuje věrnost, inteligenci a trpělivost. Dvacet let odolává nápadníkům a díky své chytrosti (tkaní a párání rubáše) získává čas.
Kirké je zase mocná čarodějka, která proměňuje muže ve vepře, ale později se stává Odysseovým spojencem.
Athéna je Odysseovým největším ochráncem a bez její pomoci by se domů pravděpodobně nikdy nedostal.
Ženy nejsou jen pasivními postavami, ale zcela zásadními hybatelkami dění.
Velmi zajímavé by bylo třeba i srovnání přístupu k ženství a ženám v řecké a křesťanské mytologii a literatuře. Ale to už by bylo jiné téma.
Tato filmová protagonistka si mohla o díle něco nastudovat v rámci profesionální přípravy na roli. Nebo vlastně měla, pokud si chce říkat profesionál. V dnešní době umělé inteligence a Googlu by to bývala ani nemusela číst.
Ale ona se rozhodla zůstat ignorantem.

They took a disabled veteran with a sketchy past, slapped some “blue-collar oyster farmer” crapola on the label, ran him through the progressive car wash, and sent their media whores and activist priests out to sell him as the future of the Democratic Party. Bernie, Warren, and Khanna all lined up to kiss the ring. Daniel Moraff and his DSA ghouls openly bragged about using him to blow up the old way of doing things. And when he crushed the primary with 72% of the vote, the machine loved it.

Until the scandals started piling up and the map started looking shaky.

Now suddenly everybody in the control room is acting shocked, like they had no idea who greenlit this experiment. Bullshit. Platner didn’t just wander out of the Maine mud and accidentally become a Senate nominee. They went hunting for a radical. They found one. They groomed him, funded him, platformed him, and told their voters this was the guy.

And the second he became a liability ... the second the scandals got too loud and the DSA stink started becoming impossible to hide ... the same jackholes who built him reached for the knife.

That’s the part that makes this so damn satisfying.

They spent years feeding the socialist wing, cheering while these people torched norms, attacked moderates, and dragged the party further left. They thought they could just unleash the monster, point it at Republicans, and keep it on a leash when it was convenient.

They were wrong.

Now their creation is turning into a problem, and the old guard is panicking because they finally realized something they should’ve known from the start: radicals are a hell of a lot easier to radicalize than they are to control. You can’t build a frigging insurgency and then act surprised when it doesn’t politely step aside the moment it stops being useful.

They built him.
They sold him.
Their own voters picked him.

Now they want him politically executed before he drags the rest of their rotting party down with him.

Frankenstein didn’t just lose control of the monster again.

This time the monster’s looking back at them like it might start tearing through the lab.

Government slashes SNAP, Walmart and Sam’s Club slash their prices.

Because when the State pumps taxpayer money into something, demand explodes while supply stays constrained (or gets regulated to hell).

So producers simply raise prices because they can, and everyone pays.

We’ve seen it in housing where Section 8 and “affordable” mandates lead to bidding wars and rents through the roof.

In college tuitions where subsidized loans caused tuitions to triple in real terms.

In healthcare where Medicare/Medicaid bloat led premiums and costs to skyrocket.

Subsidies simply distort prices and stick you with the bill.

People forget that Gov DeSantis beat this guy in 2018 by less than 0.5%.

He would’ve been our Governor during Covid, kept us locked down, and the country would’ve never been the same.
