QAHAR AQILAH has been primarily an actor, acting teacher, and voice enthusiast for 20 plus years. He was trained as an actor at the Michael Howard Studios in New York, where he studied Voicework with David Wells and the "Shakespeare in The Present" workshops with Patsy Rodenburg.

R. I. P. Alan Arkin. This was the first film that I saw him in, when I was just starting out as an actor. His performance lead me towards learning about the powerful, transformative potential of improv training, and especially, how it can take scripted acting to greater heights.
