This has been a hard season, but I’m proud that the change I fought for is happening. I’ve been inspired & overwhelmed by the people who have reached out to support me & share their stories. Thank you @timesupldf @debrakatzKMB & everyone who has been in this with me #Survivor
My re-emergence on Twitter because @CityofAtlanta@thedanabarrett really did a terrible job with this computer hack. Everyone's fees are just piling up. Gotta get to the polls #2026
@CityofAtlanta@TheDanaBarrett got hacked for over a month!!! We've been calling every week and no indication on when they would open but didn't extend ANY deadlines. Fees immediately got paid by a predatory co that won't respond to us. Anyone else having this problem??
Sometimes, when I'm feeling up for it, I go through my DMs and read them. I'm sorry I haven't responded to many of you. Thank you for all of the kind, supporting DMs, thank you for sharing your stories, and thank you for having the hard conversations. Many of YOU inspire me <3
@TheToastyPhil Arbitrary bc each company is deciding individually and basing decisions on media backlash (I’m not debating ethics here, just the way we should solve the problem). This why it’s better to have some standard if we can ever come to agreement on what that looks like (2/2)
@TheToastyPhil Merkel’s point is about setting precedent & protecting free speech and the truth. Legal regulation needs to set the standard rather than private individuals/companies. Arguably, tech has too much power if they can block individuals arbitrarily (1/2)
@saganator18_efc Maybe this is less about voting and more about changing the way that we speak about women in the media and in private. A reflection, if you will. It’s about taking this narrative of a #nastywoman and flipping it on its head.
I learned that institutions, even if there are good people in it, are resistant to change. Change only happens when you fight for it #letsfight
Referring to these changes which took “only” 8 months to be instituted:

@pantsjuju @icebergbutsand @thejuliacarter Cool — love the data! “On the same tribe” to start with? Because there’s production control over that unlike a swap
