The Padres couldn’t handle a manager like Mike Shildt, who set a standard and held players and coaches accountable. We don’t need a buddy-buddy clubhouse culture. Everyone needs to be held accountable, from the coaching staff to the players. Right now, there doesn’t seem to be any standard in that clubhouse, and it shows on the field.
Stammen’s after game interviews make me want to shoot myself in the head. I hate how he smiles and thinks it’s cute and fun even though they lost. He can’t get fired soon enough. @Padres#padres
Ngl I’m tired of this take. My dad has been a fan since 1969. He’s never been more frustrated by a core of players than this team.
The years and years of bad Padres baseball was easier to accept when we didn’t spend. It’s not acceptable anymore. Fans can and SHOULD be complaining.
@Padres@ZackMann1997@MLBPS_US Where is Mason Miller? Literally the only one who deserves to go. Wtf is Fermin and Cronenworthless on this over him? Absolutely insane.
This PA has not sat right with me since it happened. Manny has been one of the biggest problems on the team. First and foremost he looks out of shape. As someone who went directly to the owner to get another extension it is quite unacceptable to at least not put in the effort in the offseason. Harper was called out by his GM and has responded. Someone in the org needs to hold Manny more accountable. I’m tired of him saying they’re going to turn it around and he keeps taking awful PA after awful PA. His numbers in important situations have been so bad it’s quite mind boggling.
