@Lepronious @ABC Words like allegedly are also used so as not to taint the eventual jury pool. Every defendants defense would be that they couldn't get an impartial trial because the media told everyone they were guilty. Nobody would ever go to jail, guilty or not. Great plan 🙄

@mattvanswol Everyone here is going crazy like this is some new law. The 14th amendment was ratified in 1868.
One more time for those who can't grasp the concept....birthright citizenship was codified in the constitution 158 years ago.

@debdj17 @TheDemocrats Every news station, the government, and the bill itself said there was funding for ICE. The TSA, Coast Guard, were going without pay. ICE had paychecks through the whole shutdown. You can check the BBB yourself

@debdj17 @TheDemocrats Ice has plenty of funding. They weren't affected by the shutdown. They got a couple of years worth of funding from the big beautiful bill. They didn't need more. The rest of DHS was suffering with no pay because the one department still getting paid (ICE) wanted nore.
