Things I didn't quite understand as a child, but make perfect sense to me as an adult:
- segregation
- lynchings
- public executions
- the Crusades
- Hitler
- book burnings
- Jews being expelled from 109 countries
@MattWalshBlog I honestly expect nothing less from a state/county fair. It seems it’s a requirement for fairs to have D list “celebrities” perform. I do wish they would find local talent and let them perform.
Boomers: We need more politicians like John Fetterman who refuse to blindly follow their party
Also boomers: Massie has to go because he doesn't blindly follow our party
I want a truck with no GPS or tracking.
I want a house that doesn't spy on me.
I want a government that builds roads and maintains the military and stays out of my business.
I want the constitution of the United States respected and upheld.
I want the government to be the last thing I ever think about, just like the founders intended.
Armenians should not serve in Congress.
Neither should Somalis.
Or Guatemalans.
Or — wait for it— Israelis.
If you are a citizen of a foreign country, you shouldn’t serve in ours.
We need to pass my bill to stop the invasion of dual citizens in Congress.
NOW.
I was getting Arby's for my son and I tonight. I looked at the prices of the meals. $13 for many of the items. Nearly $30 for fast food dinner.
It would have cost $12 total less than ten years ago.
Every dime I have saved towards retirement is worth a penny now.
Having a 401(k) with a million bucks is paltry when you consider how hard inflation will continue to eat into it each year after you quit putting money into it.
The system is rigged. Only cheaters win. The rest of us work our whole lives only to be poor at the end due to massive inflation from socialist ideas like minimum wage and absurdly wasteful and fraud-riddled government programs.
The country is in debt up to its eyeballs and our money is losing value every year, at a growing rate.
What a disappointing end to the American Dream.
Did you know C.S. Lewis predicted the modern obsession with “being nice” would destroy the soul?
In The Abolition of Man, Lewis argues that when a society stops believing in objective virtue, it doesn’t become tolerant… it becomes manipulable.
He calls the result “men without chests.”
People with appetites and intellects, but no courage, no honor, no trained moral instincts. They can calculate everything and defend nothing.
Lewis saw that once we reject inherited moral law, we don’t become free. We become raw material… easily shaped by propaganda, pleasure, and fear.
Modern man prides himself on compassion while quietly surrendering every standard that once gave compassion meaning.
Lewis’s insight is brutal: a civilization that educates clever cowards will eventually be ruled by tyrants or technicians.
Because when nothing is worth dying for, everything becomes negotiable… including human dignity.
If Trump is going to spend huge amounts of political capital on something ugly and difficult but necessary, it should be mass deportations of every single illegal alien regardless of age or criminal record, and defying every judge who tries to stop him. That is the kind of war, the kind of risky move with potentially disastrous political ramifications (but maybe not), that I would get behind every step of the way and so would millions of ordinary Americans. It’s an extreme measure that must be done and if Trump doesn’t do it, it’s likely that no one ever will.
The left’s argument for birthright citizenship is obviously insane but it’s even more insane when you consider that they actually don’t believe in your or my “birthright.” We are on stolen land and don’t belong here, according to them. But the anchor baby whose parents got here from Guatemala 10 seconds ago has a “birthright” and is tied to this nation by blood for all time. That’s actually their position. It’s so psychotic that you can’t even argue against it. Like trying to have a political debate with a dog. These people are not rational.
⚡🇭🇺 This is Budapest, Hungary where:
- Where the number of false asylum seekers is ZERO.
- Where there are no riot police.
- Where there is peace.
- Where there is a right-wing Christian government.
Thank you, Prime Minster Viktor Orban!
When Congress votes to increase spending, they’re voting to increase your taxes,
because you’ll pay for the additional spending through inflation and debt and taxes later, if not through taxes today.
I’m the only Member of the House who hasn’t voted to increase your taxes.
Remember when Rand Paul referred Fauci for criminal indictment and Biden ignored and then pardoned Fauci?
Remember when Rand Paul referred Fauci again for criminal prosecution and Pam Bondi ignored?
So just to recap: a prison guard who lied to the authorities about checking on Epstein also coincidentally made a series of deposits in the weeks leading up to his death that were so suspicious that the bank independently reported them to the police. That same prison guard was searching for news about Epstein in the moments before his death. And that same guard was independently named by inmates who claimed that she was involved in covering up the killing. Also, two cameras in front of Epstein's cell malfunctioned while all of this was happening. That's a whole lot of coincidences stacking up on top of each other. I don't know. Seems strange to me. But I'm no detective.
The price of gas has gone up $0.47 and the price of diesel has gone up $0.83 in 10 days due to War with Iran.
and waging war costs American taxpayers about $1 billion per day,
which comes out to $10 per family per day, or $100 since the war began.
This isn’t America First.
