@Savannah_Dimick Wait, my clinical experience through school, I had to pay for. I did not get paid while in clinical. I was a nursing assistant while in nursing school, then 10 yearβs experience as an RN, then became a NP. Upon graduation, we are all only as good as we strive to be.
@DrAmyPsyD This would be an intervention a patient thought up to add to their routine to form a healthy habit, often to replace a βbadβ one like smoking, or poor sleep hygiene.
At a panel at my hospital it was asked how to improve care for LGBTQ+ patients.
An interesting answer pointed out how LGBTQ+ coworkers are treated affects LGBTQ+ patient care.
An environment of permissive (even unintentional) transphobia/homophobia leads to inferior care.
