@LauraRbnsn I learned to read with phonics. My older son started school in 1987. He was taught phonics. My younger one started school in 1993. He was slow to read as a new reader and I found there was no longer phonics in reading curriculum. Struggle bus.

@thisone0verhere Years in childhood of parents inviting all the church people into our home. Mom would make 2-3 different pots of soup, fizzy punch, have shrimp cocktail, and Texas sheet cake. We’d all play Pictionary, Trivial Pursuit, and Michigan Rummy until
