The demonstration at Mount Sinai Hospital yesterday was reprehensible. Hospitals are places for treatment and care, not protests and intimidation.
I strongly condemn this display of antisemitism. In Toronto and across Canada, we stand with Jewish communities against this hate.
@caitiegreen I just saw this news today - it was a bad business decision! You were a phenomenal part of the show and I’ve been listening to you since your start. Hoping you land somewhere great!
@caitiegreen just heard that you're back on Monday. Yayyy! You, Marilyn and Jamar make the perfect trio. Hope your time off was magical (it was a loooong wait for me). Congrats and welcome back!
@farhanmohamed I was just there two weeks ago and sat in the Saturday Night Live studio audience. It was AMAZING! I luckily won tickets through NBC's lottery - you might be able to get in via the standby line
@shawnmicallef@AgaKhanMuseum Interestingly, I just finished a walk in the Aga Khan Park before reading the article and looked toward the Noor and wondered about it. I didn't know it was the original JCCC until now
Toronto drivers going absolutely wild, putting themselves & others in danger, trying to escape a traffic nightmare on Lakeshore. Drivers had to wait up to 3 hours to get from Jarvis to Yonge (500m). That stretch takes just 7 mins to walk. Full story here: https://t.co/fUDWnUqT76
"Attacking cultural treasures is a tactic of ignorant barbarians and authoritarians, like the Russian army and the Taliban. Rational people know that tactics like that will drive people away from your cause, instead of attracting them to it." (Vincent) https://t.co/wNkCr891Ss
And the second thing I see is a woman getting hit by a motorcycle on a city street. Wow, this is really not my thing. I need to sanitize my eyes and brain
So ... I just clicked on Twitter to see what's up here and the first thing I see is a video of people beating each other to a pulp on a city street somewhere. Yeah, no, that's not my thing
