🔔TRADE ALERT🔔 - The Chilliwack Jets announced today that the club has acquired Defenseman, Matteo Marini from the Richmond Sockeyes in exchange for Future Considerations and a Player Development Fee.

Matteo is from Langley, BC and has spent the last 2 seasons in the PJHL with the Richmond Sockeyes. Marini last season played in 41 games and scoring 2 goals, 7 assists and 30 PIM’s. Marini also appeared in 2 Playoff Games with the Sockeyes collecting 1 assist. Matteo has started off this 2023/24 PJHL Junior A Season with 1 assist thru 9 games with the Sockeyes and 6 PIM’s.

“We are excited to add Matteo’s grit, knowledge, strength and power to the back end of our d-core this season. His past experience in the league will add more chemistry to our lineup and locker room. We are excited to get him going and into our lineup.” – Clayton Robinson, GM & President
