I’m proud to have helped 2 Governors pardon the most people in VA history, but believe it should not fall solely to the Gov to give a second chance to rehabilitated Virginians with long sentences.
Take six minutes of your life to learn how second look legislation relies on restoration, redemption and hope to address America's senseless addiction to extreme punishment. #SecondLook
Take it from some of our youngest Virginians! Remember, it’s YOUR Representation. YOUR Community Funding. and YOUR Civic Duty.
Join our Virtual Statewide Week of Action and encourage your friends, family, and neighbors to complete the #Census2020
Great being back at JR Tucker high school to speak at the Senior Convocation. The senior class officers gave great speeches and I can’t wait to see what the future holds!

Was in DC today to talk about the #2020Census with Virginia’s congressional delegation. Took a quick break to visit my favorite portrait in the Capitol
This #MemorialDay, we honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. They share courage, pride in our country, and a deep sense of duty and integrity. We are grateful.
We’re honored to be welcomed to the Monacan Nation’s powwow grounds for their 27th annual powwow.
We take our role as the Governor’s liaison to the Virginia Indian tribes seriously and are proud to call the Monacan people our friends.
Yesterday I spoke to the Children’s Cabinet about the importance of the 2020 Census.
Children are the most undercounted Census subgroup. When we talk about a complete count, we’re particularly talking about kids.
We need to make sure that Virginia residents know that their response to the Census - including information about their children - will not be shared with any other government agency.
