Y12 | BASICS | It is really about getting the small things right. If you can do them, then everything else will work out by itself. Read the questions, look at the mark allocation, know your glossary and that’s a great start! #HSCstudytip
Y12 | MAINTAIN MOTIVATION | Why are you here? What was your HSC goal? Future aspirations? Every day leading to each examination is a bonus. Use them wisely. #HSCstudytip
Y12 | SUMMARISE | It’s a good idea to make “dot-points” to help cramming and unnecessary stress just before exams. Use multiple sources and make notes concise. Annotate your Maths reference sheet well! #HSCstudytip
Y12 | TIMING | Work on your timing. How long will you spend on each question or section? Achieve maximum marks. How will you attack each paper? Which order? DOT POINT if you run out of time. Make sure you have a plan of attack for each examination. #HSCstudytip
Y12 | SEMINARS | Remember that the seminars begin tomorrow for each subject. You should only attend when your subject is listed in lower D-Block. Individual teachers can be sourced via your google classroom, email or during your normal timetabled period this week. #HSCstudytip
Y12 | ELIMINATE DISTRACTION | For at least 4-hours a day stay focussed now. Change you study zone or you may lose concentration. Study at a cafe, local library, in the park. Your study buddy will help keep you focussed #HSCstudytip
Y12 | RELAX | Ironically, too much study is a bad thing. Set yourself ONE weeknight to take time off from study. Also, ensure that you get adequate sleep, to maximise your concentration for the next day. #HSCstudytip
