So many of these people are so busy not being Catholic that they stop being Christian.
In the end, if we Catholics are wrong about Mary, then what he did means very little.
If we are even partially right, this man is in danger of hell.
Whatever else you think Mary is, she is Jesus Mother.
Her “yes” gave us The Son of God.
She held God in her womb.
She fed God from her breasts.
She pondered His Word in her heart.
She stood at the cross.
She is The Mother of God.

We just wanted to send a quick note to thank you all so much for your support last week. It was, without a doubt, the scariest experience of our lives, and we cannot tell you how much it meant to know that when we reached out to our Care Advocate, there were no pre-approvals, permissions, or hoops to jump through. We were simply told, “Do whatever you need to do to save your baby girl.” In that moment, that meant everything to us.

After my C-section, Saylor was in such critical condition that I wasn’t even able to see or meet her. She was transferred to the NICU with Austin while I remained in the hospital recovering. For two full days, I could only see my newborn baby through FaceTime. Being separated from both my husband and our daughter, stuck in a hospital and completely helpless, was incredibly difficult.

We are so incredibly grateful to share that Saylor James was discharged from the NICU Friday evening! According to her doctors, she made a remarkable recovery. She went from being unresponsive and requiring resuscitation twice at birth to coming home with us just four days later. It truly feels like a miracle, and God is so good.
We wanted to share a few photos from our little journey so you could see the family behind all of this. The work you are doing truly matters, and your support gave our family one less thing to worry about during the most frightening days of our lives.

We will never forget it. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being there for our family when we needed it most.

A couple of months after my family immigrated to America in 2011, we attended a high school graduation party. At this event there were several South Asians who immigrated a few years prior and they asked my dad, "Oh so how much are you getting in Food Stamps?"

He looked at them blankly

My dad said, "What's Food Stamps?"

And there were like, "Oh you don't know what Food Stamps is?? The government gives you free money." And they told my dad which website to go to to apply

My dad still didn't understand

He was like "Why would I need the government's money?"

And they said, "Because it's free!" shamelessly

On the ride home, my dad said, "We're never hanging out with these people again"

Back in Pakistan, my dad earned extremely well but we didn't know it because he saved like 50% of what he made

We lived a simple middle class life, when we could have lived lavishly, because my dad was saving up for our move to America

Hearing those people at the party talk the way they did angered him

I accepted a few friend requests on Facebook from people at that party and saw that they were all proud Democrats

My friendship with them was very shortlived
