This weekend I attended my first 18U Showcase, and I learned a lot! The level of competition and power was definitely different, but I was excited for the challenge.
I had 6 plate appearances and finished with 2 hits, 1 RBI, and 1 walk. The rest of my at-bats were fly outs. I'm proud to have gotten through my first showcase at this level and can't wait for the next one!
A huge thank you to all the coaches at camp and to my hitting and catching coach for helping me prepare and giving me the confidence to compete. Looking forward to continuing to grow and improve! 🥎💪 🔥
