@NYCSchools Many staff members commute using the #LIRR and it is still suspended! My road has not even been plowed and that’s true for other staff and students in the 5 boroughs — what is the point of having a remote option if it’s not utilized during one of the top storms in NY history?!

@LIRR it’s bad enough u short my train 3/5 days of the week (while making my commute longer &more expensive!) but 2 short train 1556 on Mem Day wkend is downright cruel, people standing up & down the aisle-when is @GovKathyHochul going to hold the #lirr accountable 2 its riders?!

@LIRR why do you insist on shorting trains on the busiest days of the week?! At this point it feels like the #lirr is comprised of a bunch of sadists who enjoy torturing its riders — the most stressful part of my day should NOT be the commute, get it together!

@LIRR These changes are a joke, literally they are comically bad - adding an extra stop or train car will not undo all of the headaches your new schedule has caused - Any rider will tell ya this is a bandaid on a bullet hole!

the LIRRs new schedule & daily BS is really going to be the catalyst that makes me leave the classroom! I use to get work done on my train bc I’d always get a seat & had a relatively pleasant ride, now EVERY SINGLE DAY I’m crammed in 2 a cattle car or changing trains at Jamaica/2

@News12LI Not a single commuter has benefitted from this, even GC travelers r not impressed w/constant delays & the 15 min maze to exit the station — not to mention the rest of us r packed into cattle cars w/less direct service, longer local trains & missed connections, it’s unacceptable!

@JohnDillworth @LIRR @GovKathyHochul The craziest part of these stats is that since lirr no longer hold connections, the 2nd train can leave w/out its passengers & still be considered on time —With the new “no holding connections” policy they strand passengers & yet somehow are still only operating at 60% success 🤯
