@edsheeran When you son of bitches going to realize instead of making the show about yourself you stay the hell out of politics - you’re no singer you’re an activist.
"Jesus Christ is the only one who holds the keys of death. In His death and resurrection He took the sting out of death, and now God offers eternal life to every person who puts his trust and faith in His Son, Jesus Christ." —Billy Graham
@trevormccue Just so we're clear, the NCAA is saying that if officials followed the rules as they are written, instead of cheating to help Michigan get another chance, Western Michigan was the rightful winners of that game.
@trevormccue Well. The people that run college football just said Michigan only won because the Big 10 did not follow the rules - we call that cheating outside of Ann Arbor - so yeah, Michigan should be considered a 1-1 team right now.
This just tells you, the B1G would not be able to fathom Michigan losing to a superior MAC school in Western Michigan University.
The oversight committee basically told us Western won, without giving us the win because the correct protocol was not established.
Every referee and replay official needs their ass kicked to the curb immediately.
NCAA MAKES IT OFFICIAL: WESTERN MICHIGAN WON THE GAME... but it can't officially overturn the result
"The NCAA's FBS oversight committee said Wednesday that it 'does not have the authority' to overturn the result of Western Michigan's controversial loss to Michigan on Sept. 5.
The committee, however, also said that instant replay protocols 'were not followed' by the Big Ten, and that had protocols been followed, 'the outcome of the game would have been different.'"
Everyone evaluating this game for playoff and bowl game consideration, rankings and otherwise will surely consider it a WMU win and Michigan loss.
If the proper protocols for replay weren’t followed then the FBS Oversight committee should overturn the result of the game and make Western Michigan the winner of the game against Michigan.
Period. End of Story.
Saying “hey they got it wrong, but we won’t fix it” only makes it worse and is a slap in the face to the fans of football everywhere.
The FBS Oversight Committee released a statement saying that instant replay protocols were NOT followed during the clock controversy between WMU & Michigan.
“Had the protocols been followed, the outcome of the game would have been different.” Western Michigan won.
