I keep saying we never got rid of tribe warfare in the west, we merely gentrified it. It’s everywhere you look, politics, sport, brand loyalty, what phone you purchase, which OS you run, even which platform you play video games on, or which guitar you play. Everywhere you look.
The fact that we had Storm Bert, and it wasn't followed by Storm Ernie when we got to the letter E, shows a massive lack of foresight on behalf of the Met Office.

Except for:
The cost of equipment
The time taken to learn the craft
The cost of extra musicians
Your own time in writing and recording the music

“I don’t need support/ benefits” is a fair statement to make. Following it with “so why do you?” is not. No 2 people experience life or an illness or a disability in the same way. If you don’t need the support, count yourself lucky, carry on and let others have what they need.
