@thedankoe The future belongs to those who creatively combine their interests to create something unique. I once read somewhere "Specialization is for animals." That can't be more true.
Remember this whenever you hit the ground:
The ground is dangerous not because it hurts to hit but because it becomes comfortable to stay
Most people don't quit, they just let the ground become home while they're "taking a break"
The decision to keep going before comfort sets in is the only decision that actually matters
@imfat Some people just can't see things in a positive way. "We suffer more in imagination than in reality". Their perception defaults to worrying. Must be hard living life that way. All you gotta do is do your best, forget the rest, and be happy with what you've done.
@EsotericaHQ You believed anything was possible when you were a kid till the world bound you to reality.
Transcendence is breaking free of those shackles and realizing anything is truly possible.
@esha_hq Why wouldn't you want your life to be cinematic or poetic or artistic? Would you rather it be mundane and boring? Fuck that. My life IS a movie. The music I listen to becomes the soundtrack, the people I meet become characters, the events become plot.
I can't live any other way.
Always make sure that you keep your creation to consumption ratio calibrated towards creating more.
I personally aim for 4-5 hrs creating : 2-3 hrs consuming.
@conductr_ Writing is to soul what love is to a heart.
Love teaches the heart what it's capable of feeling.
Writing teaches the soul what it's capable of knowing.
Both arrive as discovery. Both leave you permanently changed by what you found.
Without love the heart still beats.
Without writing the soul still exists.
But neither is fully alive.
Both need expression to become what they actually are.
Writing is not a skill. It is a sacred act. The same way love doesn't merely connect two people but transforms them both in the connecting, writing doesn't merely record thought but alters the soul that does the recording. You are not the same person after you've written the true thing. Just as you are not the same person after you've loved completely.
Both are irreversible. Both are necessary. Both make the invisible finally real. Both are how the human being becomes most fully itself.
