Algerian police have arrested 12 Christians during a worship service at the House of Refuge center in L’Ayaida, near Oran.
The center provides shelter and support for vulnerable women and their families.
Police seized Christian literature, mobile phones and identity cards and transported the 12 worshippers to Bethioua police station.
The Christians could face charges under Algeria’s Ordinance 06-03 regulating non-Muslim worship. Violations covered by the law can carry sentences of 2–5 years in prison and fines of 500,000–1 million Algerian dinars (€3,250–€6,500).
Nearly all 47 churches affiliated with the Protestant Church of Algeria have received closure orders or been sealed, while more than 50 Christians have faced prosecution over their faith in recent years.

Once you learn how to shop directly from China, E.g Temù or shien your wardrobe changes completely. Call me cheap I don't care I ain't rich, I don't do fraud.😭
It's knowing what to search for.
Here's my style after making plenty of mistakes.
1. T-shirts:
Skip 100% polyester unless you're buying gym wear.
Instead, search:
• 100% Cotton
• Combed Cotton
• Heavyweight Cotton
• 240-300 GSM Cotton
• Premium Cotton
• Mercerized Cotton
The heavier the GSM, the thicker and more premium the shirt usually feels.
2. Jeans:
Denim Jeans
Temu is surprisingly good for denim if you know what to search.
Search:
• Denim Jeans
• Cotton Denim
• Raw Denim
• Selvedge Denim (if available)
• 98% Cotton + 2% Elastane
• 99% Cotton
Avoid jeans with high polyester content. The more cotton, the better they'll age and feel.
3. Body-hug clothing:
Search:
• Ribbed Knit
• Modal
• Viscose Blend
• Cotton-Spandex Blend
They hold their shape much better than cheap polyester.
4. Hoodies
Search:
• 400 GSM
• French Terry
• Cotton Fleece
• Heavyweight Hoodie
5. Chains
Search:
• 316L Stainless Steel
• Titanium Steel
• PVD Gold Plated
• Vacuum Plated
These are far more resistant to fading than ordinary fashion jewelry.
6. Earrings
Search:
• 925 Sterling Silver
• 316L Stainless Steel
• Hypoallergenic
• Moissanite (if you're buying stones)
7. Scarves
Search:
• Mulberry Silk
• Silk Blend
• Cashmere Blend
• Wool Blend
• Viscose
Avoid the shiny, thin polyester scarves if you're after a premium look.
8. Loafers
Search:
• Genuine Leather
• Cow Leather
• Full Grain Leather (rare but worth looking for)
• Rubber Outsole
9. Sneakers
Search:
• Rubber Outsole
• EVA Midsole
• Breathable Mesh
• Leather Upper
• Stitched Sole
Pictures lie a lot
The description usually tells the truth.
Here's how I shop:
1. Read the material composition before anything else.
2. Sort by Most Orders or Best Selling, not cheapest.
3. Only buy products with lots of reviews or pictures or even better when a Nigerian has purchased it before they always tell the truth.
4. Read the 1-star reviews first. They'll tell you what the seller won't.
5. Look at customer photos, not the product photos.
6. Check the weight of the product. Better quality clothing is often heavier.
7. Read the size chart. Don't assume your Nigerian size matches.
8. If the title has words like "luxury," "premium," or "designer" but the material is 100% polyester, not everything but still move on.
Your best friend isn't the product picture.
It's the material, the reviews, and the customer photos.
That's how you separate the gems from the junk.
I hope this help.
Things are to expensive for a country this poor.
You’re sitting with friends. A woman walks by. Suddenly, your friend gets up, disappears for a bit, then comes back.
You ask, “Where’d you go?”
And he says:
“When a woman passes, she comes in the form of a devil, and leaves in the form of a devil. So I was overcome with desire, and I went and had intercourse with one of my wives.”
Now imagine that man is not just your friend. He’s your prophet. Your example. Your moral compass.
That’s what Islam teaches.
This is exactly what Muhamed did and it is mentioned in Sahih Muslim (1403a), the most trusted hadith collections in Sunni Islam.
This Hadith teaches that women are inherently linked to the devil, not figuratively, but literally.
Men are portrayed as victims of their own uncontrollable desire, triggered merely by the sight of a woman.
And it reduces sex to a form of release, a response to provocation, not an act of love or union.
This isn’t just bad theology, it’s a psychological framework.
It conditions men to believe that their urges are never their fault and that women are walking triggers, not human beings.
When your religious text says women are “devilish,” you start to blame women for men’s behavior. Justify sexual violence, harassment, and modesty laws.
Enforce veiling, segregation, and surveillance, not because women need protection, but because men can’t be expected to control themselves.
Treat sex not as intimacy or mutual desire, but as a male right, a biological release, even a religious duty.
This is reality across much of the Islamic world.

A Thread: Unveiling the Lies That That Changed Our History 🧵
1. The Forgotten Element: ÆTHER
I grew up watching my uncle beat my mother like she was property. I watched him do the same to his sister and his wife.
I watched a neighbor beat his wife in broad daylight.
I watched another neighbor murder his sister in the name of “honor.”
I was 14 when I broke my own sister’s shoulder.
Because that’s what I was taught: that women are beneath us. That they’re ours to control.
When my sister went to the police for protection, begging for safety from another brother who beat her, the police told her to drop it. “Better keep it within the family,” they said.
Translation? "You're on your own."
This is the outcome of Islam, its teachings, its texts, its prophet.
Women walk behind their men. Women are expected to stay out of sight when a guest visits. A woman can’t speak up when harassed, because it’s always her fault.
A woman marries her rapist, by law, by fatwa, by “Sharia.”
Don’t tell me this is just about “bad Muslims.”
Don’t insult your own intelligence pretending the sacred texts don’t say what they say.
Muhammad said:
“Hang the whip where your women can see it, it will discipline them.”
The Quran says:
“As for those from whom you fear disobedience, strike them.” (Quran 4:34)
And as long as people keep making excuses for it, wrapping it in the lie of “misinterpretation,” women will keep walking behind, eating after the men, marrying their rapists, and dying in silence, killed not just by their brothers and fathers, but by a system that blessed it all in the name of God.
