Playtime is over.
It’s funny but not funny
While all of that was going on yesterday, I got my girls ready for bed. We did our usual routine. As I was about to leave their room, one of them said, “You didn’t fix my blanket properly.” The other asked, “Can you stay with us a bit longer?”
I sat down on the floor, rethinking my choices.
It’s not even about fearing death. But my life is no longer just mine. I cannot afford to entertain nonsense. I have three little humans who depend on me now.
So I pray…. no careless word spoken over me will ever take root.
Church was different today! Beyond the sermon, we had a 'Civic Minute' (10min session) to break down the new Tax Laws to members.
It feels good to belong to a community that cares about our financial literacy and our role as citizens.
An incredible way to use religious platform to promote civic responsibility. Bridging the gap between faith and nation-building.
