Recruits: Just because you play MLS Next, ECNL, or GA it doesn’t mean you will play D1. It doesn’t mean you’re D1 material.
Like it or not, your club coaches are having HONEST conversations with colleges behind your back regarding your ability.
Most of you are not being recommended to the nicer D1 schools everyone wants just because you play at their elite club.
Your club coaches will not burn a bridge for you if they feel you don’t belong.
College coaches respect the club coaches who provide honest evaluations regarding your ability.
So trust us when we tell you, for most of you your club coach is not giving the glowing D1 recommendation you think they are just because you’re part of their club. They’ll never tell you that because you’re a paying customer but they’re simply not burning a bridge for you.
Be real about your ability! Ask your club coaches the range of schools you should be looking at.

@ImCollegeSoccer Nah... what's crazy is 3 matches in a week at the high school level. That's what's crazy. Training 4 days a week with a match is perfect at an older level
