Big thank you to our guest speaker this morning, Lorna, who spoke and presented to our students about the importance and significance of giving blood.

Lorna spoke about 'Pint for Mike' - a campaign that raises awareness of the importance of blood donation and the life-saving difference it can make. During today's session, Lorna explained what the initiative us about, why blood donation is so vital, and how young people can get involved once they are eligible.

It takes less than an hour in total and around 10 minutes to actually donate. It saves up to 3 adult lives or 6 children's lives.
