📣📣WE WERE FRIGHTENING CLOSE TO THE SYSTEM BREAKING
Thomas Peterffy Interactive Brokers describes January 28th, 2021, as a frightening close domino bankruptcy event that would have broken the system.
Peterffy said he would like to know why the SEC didn't act on the morning of January 28th.
I would like to know why the SEC has not acted since January 28th to protect shareholders from the out of control market manipulation that is blatantly happening every day❓️
Peterffy said
1: Short positions should be posted every day instead of twice a month.
2: Brokers would need to charge an additional 1% margin for every 1% of short interest.
He says that would make margins so high that would stop them from shorting stocks.
This is from 2021.
We are now in 2026, and nothing has changed to protect companies and their shareholders from predatory short selling.
The data is also highly manipulated.
They mismark shorts as long and illegal naked short sell every day.
The CAT consolidated audit trail was supposed to track all of this. But Citadel has attacked it since it was implemented that the CAT has basically been neutered.
When they do use the CAT, the fines are so small that they act as an incentive.
PAUL ATKINS WHEN DOES THE NEW DAY AT THE SEC START❓️❓️

So one thing to consider, and I have been saying this since 2022. The Consumer has a discretiuonary amount of money to spend. When prices rise faster than earnings, cuts are made in discreionary spending.
Then you see these yahoos on Tik Toc complaing about spending $30 or $40 for a move outing.'
So why is movie attendance increasing when its more expensive to go? Its not all movie quality , Mando and Grogu and example of that.
What it is, and what the average troll of AMC does not get, is that the discretionary spending that is being cut is travel. Less cruises, less flying to Hawaii. Less going to Star Wars Galaxy or Disneyland. And guess what, when you cut a $5,000 vacation out of your budget, you can afford to go splurge on movies more often.
This is the reality. Higher fuel costs means higher cost of flights. Those can and are being deferred. But that allows for more local entertainment.
Its not Rocket Science. Its common sense.
