Very sorry to learn of the passing of my friend Ron St. Pierre. Ron had a huge impact on RI radio and TV. He ran the studio camera on the 5th floor of the old Outlet building when I first arrived to work as a weekend sportscaster at WJAR. He’ll be greatly missed!
Congratulations on Rick Cordelia being named President on NBC Sports! What a great honor! Rick was a member of our 1997 Providence College Elite 8 Team. Rick did a great job pushing our top players like Austin Croshere and God Shammgod to get better.Rick was a great teammate.
Great night for the RI Hockey HOF at the Rhodes on the Pawtuxet. Steven King, Jeff Jillson, John Hynes, Babe Mousseau and Bill Thayer all enter the HOF.
@DavidCGoucher Nice job voicing over the video highlights of each of the RI Hall of Fame inductees tonight at the Rhodes on the Pawtuxet in Cranston. A great night for Jeff Jillson, Steve King, John Hynes, Babe Mousseau and Bill Thayer!
Sad to hear the news of the passing of legendary Providence Journal sportswriter Bill Reynolds. He was an amazing writer! He saw sports in a unique way and his “For what it’s worth” column was brilliant! He made his profession proud!
