After 126 years manufacturing beds in Australia, this proud Australian family company has been forced into administration.
It survived World War I, the Great Depression, World War II, the 1973 OPEC oil shock, the Whitlam years, the Keating recession, and the Global Financial Crisis — but it could not survive the Albanese Labor government’s economic sabotage.
"Future Made in Australia”?
What a contemptible fraud.
If Albanese & Bowen persist with their reckless Net Zero fantasy — deliberately driving up energy prices to some of the highest in the developed world, layering on mountains of green tape, punitive carbon taxes, and anti-business regulations that make Australian manufacturing uncompetitive — we won’t even be able to manufacture a can of peas in this country, let alone a bed.
The Albanese regime isn’t building the future — it’s torching it with ideological arson.
This is what happens when governments choose climate virtue-signalling over economic reality: factories close, workers lose everything, and Australia becomes a nation that can’t make anything except excuses.
A very sad day for Australian manufacturing.
@GemmaTognini Wife and I walking on the footpath down King St between Phillip & Elizabeth a few weeks ago. Bike rider came down the footpath, nearly took us out. Bike lane was empty. Yelled at him to get off the footpath and use the bike lane. Naturally an expletive laden tirade was returned.
This is Gaza before the war. They had everything, yet they chose to invade Israel, slaughter 1,200 Israelis, and promised to do it again and again.
Never forget who started this war.
@SueHigginson_ I walked past the court building yesterday at lunchtime. I saw all the terrorist supporters flags and gay flags. How do the gays not understand that the terrorists hate gays and over there would chuck them off the highest pile of rubble they can find.
@ChavuraStephen I saw them out the front of the court yesterday with their terrorist and gay flags. What I don’t understand is why the gays attach themselves to these gay murdering haters of freedom.
@LT_Aust I had a 1 minute phone call with my doctor yesterday to get a referral renewed (isn’t that another scam). I guess he had to do some paperwork. I got a bill of $80 (plus card fee) for 6 minutes and will get $40 back from Mediscam. @AlboMP, you do need a credit card too you liar.
@still_boneless My wife and I saw that on a Southwest flight from LA to Las Vegas 2 years ago (we had just flown in from Australia). Huge line of wheel chairs and walkers getting on. None getting off (flight crew had asked them to wait till last for assistance. None waited). We laughed so hard.
@Conboytoy And the F___wits in Canberra wonder why they can’t get new recruits. Why would anyone want to join a military that betrays you for doing what you’re paid to do.
