I'm supposed to describe myself in fewer than 160 characters? Seriously? No, really, 160 characters is all I get? Well OK then, here we go. I'll start by sayi
@MBTA why is the train that was departing in 4 minutes still at Oak Grove at the 12 minute mark, and counting? While we’re at it, how much longer will the slow zones last? When will more trains be on the tracks? Mysteries abound.
@MBTA so when an orange line train at community college can’t get the doors to respnd and open, it’s up to the old “reboot and pray it works” I.T. trick. Let’s hope it’s an isolated incident, and not a safety issue.
@mbta any reason the orange line train I’m on just sat at Community College for 9 minutes with no announcement? Is the commute not slow enough for us? It’s not like there was a train in front of us, unless you count the previous one 18 minutes earlier.
@WBZNightside 15-20 minutes between each of the total of 4 orange line trains in service, with slowdowns in effect all week… I’d say we’re faring at about pre-shutdown levels, just with a longer commute time. Hope next week is better.
@jersiegel@wutrain Oak Grove to State: Waiting at 8:15, train slid in at 8:30, left at 8:32, sad crawl from Malden to North Station, OK to State, arrived at 9:08. Did they say how many days the slowdown would go on for? I got to work 10m later than I did walking from the CR, 25m more than usual.
The @MBTA Orange Line reopens tomorrow! Who will be That Person who christens the first train out by dropping their iced coffee all over the floor, making sure that it is at the proper level of stickiness?
@MBTA Is this a preview of how shuttle buses will “run” (crawl) when you shut down Oak Grove to Wellington in August? Is there a plan to minimize the impact on commuters then, or will the losing streak continue?
@MBTA Did you mean “up to 15 minutes at each stop on your commute”? Because that’s what we’re getting. You think you’d have a more efficient way to deal with the nonstop reasons for delayed commutes. Do better, or hire someone who will.
