First zero Kyrie hate. I’m a Duke fan first and foremost so I’ve always been a big Kyrie fan & always felt like he brought something different to the game that people underappreciated.

That being said I think he’s overrated because he’s constantly put into conversations that his resume and accolades don’t really support simply because of his skill set. With other players, we acknowledge the “if he wasn’t injured” argument and understand that injuries are part of the reason they don’t get certain recognition. We don’t put Derrick Rose or T-Mac in every conversation because of what could’ve been.

But with Kyrie it’s always “If he wasn’t injured” & we use that to elevate him into conversations with guys like Chris Paul and other all-time great point guards. That’s insane to me..

Also without that ring I think many of ya would agree.

New medical study examining Achilles tears in the NBA said there was some correlation to increased workload in the 10 and 15 games before a player tore their Achilles. It found that players who got hurt averaged more minutes in the 10 and 15 game periods before the injuries than their season average.

The study said: "No significant associations were identified between (Achilles tear rupture) occurrence and age, player position, role, early sport specialization, or measures of schedule congestion."
