In Matthew's account (14:14-21) of the feeding of the 5,000, the disciples said, "Send them away." Jesus responded with "They need not depart." Why are we so conditioned to focus on our lack of supply rather than the sufficiency of Jesus? To immediately turn to the best human solution we can find rather than turn to Jesus' solution? To focus on human resources rather than supernatural help? HE has the answer and the resources for every situation. Turn to HIM.

Matt. 9:35-38 - We must pray for laborers because: 1. He cares for the perishing. 2. He is Lord of the harvest. 3. He is the Sender of laborers. 4. It will prepare my heart to be sent. 5. Judgment is coming.

Matthew 8 -- In one day the disciples saw Jesus heal a leper, a palsied Centurion's servant, the fever of Peter's mother-in-law, and cast out devils with a word. Then they got on a ship with Jesus and feared for their lives because of the wind??? Why do the storms that threaten us personally seem to erase all we have seen Him do for others?
