Back into the transition process after a few days of fishing and soaking. This week I’ll connect with the Colo. Municipal League, our admin team, fire dept. and pool director. 1st reading of the budget ordinance on Tuesday at the City Council meeting. Glad to hear your thoughts.

Don't forget the Manitou Springs Fire Department Turkey Shoot fundraiser tonight. 6 PM at City Hall. It's a fun event and will help support our fire department.

Thanks Bob Todd for setting up a meeting with County Commissioner Stan VanderWerf. I am truly impressed with how much he has taken on and is getting done. I am looking forward to working with him to address the issues of homelessness/transients, west-end graffiti and others.

It's time to get to work. Had a great meeting with our City Administrator and reached out to other City Council members. I am looking forward to creating a positive and empowering working relationship. Also trying to nail down how to best use social media to keep in touch.
