Oburu started his politics as a councilor in Kisumu in 1974. The year my Mum was born in Kamser, Seka. Kendu Bay
In 1981, he was an Economic advisor in the Ministry of Finance and planning
1994, he became Bondo MP, till 2013. 20 yrs, not even a borehole to account for. No bill to his name
Never seen him fight for anyone or anything!
He was even an assistant minister for Finance, but hey, Luos are marginalized by previous governments
As Senator, not once did he call out wanton graft in Siaya county.
A century in politics and hitherto in diapers yet still wants to control a people he has done absolutely nada for
Respect your elders- they say
A politically correct dictum of telling us, “do not question senile fools”
Joan of Arc was 17 when she led an army of French against England
Heck, Jesus was 12 when he left temple criminals bamboozled with hard questions
Young Kenyans, respect is not synonymous with subservience. Interrogate history and dissect dumbfuckery
It is YOUR sacrosanct right!
The other day he called Matiang’i a political novice. Fine, Doc has never been elected even MCA
He has been a lecturer at Egerton, UoN, even New York university, yet to hear any of his students label him incompetent
Served at UNDP, World Bank and co
As CS ICT, si mko digitally enabled now?
CS Education, banned KNEC, enforced discipline, Gava was paying for National exams, the rest you know
Interior- wacha tu niseme, goons were NON- EXISTENT!
You don’t have to vote for him, kura yako, haki yako
But at least acknowledge that Kenya does not need 1900 behemoths
We need those greenhorns with proven record, and the wherewithal for transformation
"In matters of style, swim with the current; in matters of principle, stand like a rock.,”- Thomas Jefferson
I recently did an experiment. I cheated in a monopoly game. I wanted to examine the extent to which undue advantage such as embezzlement/inheritance influenced economic outcomes relative to chance and initiative. I ended up building 2 hotels before the others could build a house (CAPITAL ACCUMULATION).
It got to a place where, I stopped accepting rent from players that landed in the hotels. I instead offered to wipe away their debt in exchange for their land, which was sometimes only a quarter of the debt owed (ASSET-PRICE INFLATION).
The other players could not outbid me for the land as the owner owed me too much (BARGAINING/MARKET POWER).
The more land I got, the more I built. I was barely using the money I had. If I landed in their owned properties, the other players were more willing to overlook what I owed them because after every round I awarded each of them about $50 just to keep them in check (SOCIAL CAPITAL).
And every time I did, I sang about how generous I was (POLITICAL LEGITIMACY).
By the end of it, I owned all land. Had 5 hotels, across 5 prime lands (ASSET CONCENTRATION).
I came to the conclusion that unless by some miracle, you cannot outwit a flawed economic system. Undue advantage has a better compounding influence on positive economic outcomes than initiative and chance (OUTLIERS).
Here is 1 hour and 3 minutes of all the world's best coaches and footballers saying Messi is the best ever
But sure bots on Twitter have apparently destroyed his 'legacy'
🚨 BREAKING NEWS: A 4-minute video has just been released showing all the times England ROBBED Argentina
THEY DELETED IT BECAUSE IT SHOWS THE TRUTH. WE WILL KEEP POSTING IT
The internet never forgets. Watch this 2021 video carefully. Fuel hit around KSh150 and Murkomen, the Bomet Senator and others now in UDA government were shouting daily and attacking Uhuru. Today fuel is at KSh242. Same people. Different silence. What changed?
🚨🗣️ Pep Guardiola:
"The difference between Messi and this generation? I’ll be honest, if Messi were still in Europe, half of these stars… you wouldn’t hear much about their names. Today’s forwards score 20 goals a season and are considered legends. Messi would score 20 goals in two months or half a month and still complain he wasn’t at his best.
Players today celebrate routine goals. Messi used to embarrass us by scoring world-class goals every single week. You know what the difference is between Messi and today’s generation? They need tactical analysis, performance-tracking devices, and nutritionists. Messi just needed a ball, boots, and my permission to train three extra hours.
I’m coaching Haaland now, and he’s amazing. But if Messi were in the Premier League, Erling would be playing left back. Messi didn’t compete against players, he competed against our idea of what was impossible. Today Mbappé runs, Haaland scores, and De Bruyne passes, but no one, no one, can make us say, ‘Oh my God, how did he do that?’
Some players create stats. Messi created pure wonder."

A police officer was caught on CCTV firing inside an M-Pesa shop to force the attendant to open the door. The officers, who were fully covered in balaclavas, did not identify themselves or explain why they were attempting to force entry into the shop at night.
In 2007-8 Raila asked Kibaki for the Finance Ministry, Kibaki refused and responded that the President is in principle the minister for Finance and so in essence you are asking for my job?
Raila went ahead and gave the Assistant ministry position to his brother Dr. Oburu. He also gave his trusted soldier Oparanya the ministry of planning.
My point is that, Raila entrusted at a critical time in history, key positions to those he trusted the most.
So when Uhuru stole 9.2B in the 2008/09 financial budget and blamed it on computer error, we know who he ate it with.
Tunataka pawa is not new in these streets.
