Been playing with the New Fiber Laser cutting all sorts of materials - by far the most satisfying are the 2.5D coins - Images with depth giving a great result. These are 40mm Brass Coins engraved and polished. Now available at my website https://t.co/7bbeLSVEXE

It's been a while since my last post, but been busy designing a few bits and bobs. Took a little time to produce a couple of coasters tho - just to keep the laser running. A Mothers Day Heart shaped Coaster, and a variable Proud Son/daughter/grandson etc Round coaster.

Been busy over the last couple of days getting my new workshop up and running. Mainly for clean work so that leaves the messier hobbies in the garage. Managed to get desk built and a new sign for the door Nothing like a spot of self promotion... so even got myself a new cap.

Another hour or so in the shed this evening - making some Kinder Rabbits for Easter. Can either be painted or left natural but I decided to paint this one.
They are made from 4mm MDF and hold the egg comfortably enough, whilst still allowing ease of access to the egg.

Family tree - can substitute Sisters/Brothers/Siblings/Family/All for the wording and also add more names to the hearts for the tree etc. Makes a lovely gift for friends and family. Family Tree Heart.

Finally managed to dial in the settings
for engraving on Glass. Made a number of these Highball glasses and tumblers. Can even engrave on filled bottles like this JD Miniature. Makes a great
personalised present, combined with a nice
personalised slate coaster - Job done....

Grabbed some dainty canvas frames 10x10cm and on a mini easel these come out quite nice laser engraved - Have your photos/images/slogans etc on these. Would make a great keepsake or table decoration, will be putting these on the website and can order via facebook or Whatsapp.

I saw a few personalised flowers about the place and thought I'd have a go. The word/name can be personalised and I have a tulip and a rose at the moment. These are about 20x5cm by 3mm thick. Now just looking for a reasonably priced frame that would be nice to display these in.
