@brianlilley@brianlilley best line from the article: It also didn’t help his case that he stated plainly on air that CBC president Catherine Tait had declined his request for an interview on the issue of bonuses going to executives at a time when CBC was eliminating jobs.
Good for him!
@brianlilley@legallassy@UberEats I don’t use Uber eats so I don’t know. You tip before it arrives? Wouldn’t you tip when it arrives and reward for good service (or not)?
@TTChelps haha, I guess anything goes on the good old 501. Someone in the back of the car was lighting a crack pipe in rush hour. I walked towards the front and let someone wearing a TTC vest know. She said there’s nothing they can do unless it’s posing a danger others. Nice!
@brianlilley@mindingottawa you should explore the economics of this. It makes zero sense as a government funded initiative to begin with. Spending $100 million on hookups = $500 per connection. It’s already available for $600 if one orders directly.
@brianlilley@brianlilley why is the gov’t even involved in this. The gov’t is paying about $500 per installation through this initiative, but individuals can order direct from starlink for the same price. Why is the gov’t paying for the access at all? This should be a Blacklock’s topic.
@BuffaloBillsPR@SalSports When Hamlin came back from the cardiac arrest and people suggested comeback player of the year I said not in my opinion. As heroic as it was on a personal level, not a football comeback. However, based on his play on the field this year vs last, now I can see it.
@SalSports@jfdkluc77@WGR550 It’s a start. Quite absurd that we need a vpn to listen regularly. I’m a season seat holder, and I can’t listen to one bills live even though it’s a show run by Bills employees.
They do the same thing for concerts, I just happen to be a sports fan and noticed. That’s a lot of extra profit for TM just by not picking the lowest priced platform to purchase as a consumer. To me that’s as shady as dynamic pricing.
@alancross I heard you interviewed about ticket pricing. Any explanation for this? The service fee portion of the price changes based on platform you purchase on. Look at this - base price the same but the total price higher on app vs website. media hasn’t caught onto this.
