Sen Edwin WAKENYA Sifuna has consistently been clear and honest with Kenyans.
As we move towards building coalitions and a broader movement for change, he has reminded us that difficult but necessary conversations must be had. The first question is one that millions of Kenyans have already answered: Yes, Ruto Must Go.
The next question is even more important: Why Must He Go?
Because Kenyans are tired of killings and abductions. Because court orders have been ignored with impunity. Because corruption continues to thrive while citizens struggle with a high cost of living. Because public institutions have been weakened, accountability has diminished, and trust in government has been eroded.
And as we seek alternatives, we must be equally honest about those seeking leadership. Not everyone can credibly occupy every space. We must interrogate records, baggage, and the historical concerns that Kenyans have about different leaders. Change cannot simply be about replacing one individual with another; it must be about restoring integrity, accountability, and good governance.
That level of clarity, honesty, and courage is refreshing.

@edwinsifuna Omwami, if you’re truly a student of Baba, don’t allow yourself to be confined as a tribal leader. Baba built a national movement. We need to see you engaging all communities, holding town halls in universities, colleges, and meeting youths across the country.
@LillyanneNganga note the difference before June 2024 the citizens were not politically awaken like now...today they know how politics affects their pocket and rights...
I don’t want to ever see people abusing luos again. They’ve sacrificed greatly for the freedoms we all enjoy and remain consistent in the struggle. Pls Gachagua supporters, if we truly want Ruto out, then you must embrace tolerance. Stop your slander from today. Kenya is #WANTAM
