@MrRexPatrick @AlboMP @PeterDutton_MP Most states & territories have 4 yr terms and are not obviously worse than the feds in governance or accountability. IMO 4 year terms give gov enough time to govern whereas 3 yrs means they are almost always in campaign mode with little time to make hard but necessary decisions.

Peter Dutton and Lidia Thorpe run close to a dead heat as the biggest arsehole in federal politics. Annabel Crabb has achieved the considerable feat of making both resemble a nice human being. Whether it is a journalistic achievement or just crass spin doctoring is anor question.
