The Metro Council is taking up Nashville's city budget now. The first 5 minutes have been an explanation of tonight's process and the sequence of votes, since there are multiple competing budget proposals.
@sarahfor5 I was told it may not even be possible to change the CCA bond covenants to divert a portion of the TDZ funds to the city’y General fund. Never know until we try. I think it was Mendes.
As your mayor, I am always going to tell you the truth about where we are as a city. I am going to put you - the city’s residents - first in every negotiation. I invite you to read my policy position in regards to restoring trust.
RT if you agree! 💙 🧡

@MerrySnark@SeanForFive @Danfordistrict7 @AmThruster@angienashville Not these renters.”Niido,Nashville’s first hybrid AirBNB/apartment complex, has gone to the dogs, literally. Residents awaken daily to hallways of dog poop, drunken people passed out, peeing from balconies into the courtyard, and elevators with fresh dog urine.”ScoopNashville
@AmThruster@angienashville@MerrySnark So developers and property owners should be free to build whatever they like anywhere they like? The neighbors recently fought against the huge project at Abbot Martin and Hillsboro Road as well as the one at Murphy Rd and I-440 and got increased zoning protection.
