I love Ratatouille but it's really a leftish movie: class antagonism is resolved not through market competition but by the collective appropriation of gastronomic knowledge. The means of culinary production are wrested from inherited elites by a multi-species workers' cooperative
Class / social antagonism dissolves by inviting the subaltern — the rats — into the creative/services sector, where they can maximize their ROI as individual human capitals.
2,3,5 are typical Raps: physical, tough, strong D. 1 and 4, are elite offense, a semi-departure for raps (or gradey make-ups). Several are older ready-to-play guys from developmental programs - maybe we're in win-now phase. All 5 are high character, compete like heck.
@raghu_venugopal@RobynUrback No. We are not. We have no tier. 🇨🇦 health care system is a mess. Not until they were in their 90s did my parents need care. They were left to rot in Emerg. And their story is not at all unique, tragically.
@raghu_venugopal@RobynUrback you're misrepresenting robyn. she never said the only answer to public health care problems is more private health care. you made that up. like you made up the part about no one she knows has been to a Canadian ER. there's a good conversation to be had here. you're not helping
Before Richard, Beliveau or Lafleur, there was Howie Morenz.
He was the first superstar of the Montreal Canadiens.
But then a freak accident on the ice ended his career and, eventually, his life.
This is the story of the Stratford Streak.

I'm proud to announce today -- four years to the day since The Hub (@thehubcanada) was launched -- the publication of a collection of 376 poems that have appeared in its pages: The Poetical Hub, available here: https://t.co/vCQn99tYPY
From biting epigram à la Martial to delicate Horatian lyric, from sombre lament to pure silliness, it's a collection with something for everyone.
Today's poem celebrates the 4th Anniversary; the "sword of seven hundred songs" refers to the fact that this is the 712th poem I've published in The Hub in these past four years.
Everyday she sounds a little more like Baghdad Bob: “President Trump is the hardest-working president the American people have ever had,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said. “He is constantly taking calls and working deals to advance our nation’s interests.”
Former Canadian Prime Minister @stephenharper talks About His New Book
Hard to believe, but he's actually likeable here 😀 Book answers the question: why is Canada's flag red and white 🇨🇦 @KenWhyte3@sutherlandbooks

B. Ingram from '21-23 is #26, #29, #27 ESPN Top 100. He's #40 '24. Cost: late 1st, trade rated C-D. Knicks pay five 1s for Bridges, #38 ESPN, trade graded: B-B+. Yeah, salaries, dnps, defence, etc. Would u swap Bridges (age 28) for BI (27)? Masai got a steal @michaelgrange
@Inhocmark@stphnmaher@DavidStaplesYEG@IvisonJ I wrote for them when @ConradMBlack owned it and @KenWhyte3 edited it. As a media historian, I can say with some certainty that it was the best designed, most interesting and the most writer-friendly paper in modern Canadian history. 1/2
