@ELHopkins No, it was not the Government who decided COVID-19 was over - it was US! People are arguing the labour shortage is because the boarders were not open, and like you that COVID-19 restrictions where eased too soon. Both cannot be right. This is a planet wide issue!

I drove past the convoy today, the squalor and the tents were confronting but the worst part was seeing people with obvious COVID symptoms freely walking around unmasked.
