Some photos from the @platformLDN1 Cricket competition in #Deptford and #NewCross. A wonderful day, and @KenderSchool managed to take home the bronze! Thanks to everyone for a wonderful day, we had great fun - looking forward to next year!
We're impressed by that bowling action @KenderAHT_RV! No wonder @KenderSchool did so well at our festival the other week. #tekkers https://t.co/1GXyCbIUmf
Representing @KenderSchool at our last Power of Reading meet. Celebration and great practice shared, and also a talk by the delightful @LaytonNeal. Thanks @clpe1 for everything, it's been a fantastic journey!
Wow! What an amazing day at Deptford Park. 450 kids from 14 different schools took part! Thank you to everyone who attended the @platformLDN1 project launch and to those who made it possible!! #Lewisham#Platform
.@KenderSchool celebrating #WorldWaterDay with an assembly, followed by #science workshops during which we built our own water filters. Plenty of learning, fundraising and fun happening! @WaterAidUK
Year 4 from Kender at their visit to the Natural History Museum. First time for many of us, and we enjoyed it plenty! The workshop about volcanoes and earthquakes was very informative and interactive, thank you for that! @NHM_London @KendIbbotson
Year 4 looking at birds in the playground for the Big Garden Birdwatch! Lots of excitement, we even saw a couple of magpies - joy to us! @Natures_Voice
Investigation into liquids and solids underway! We were looking at different materials such as water and sugar and checking their properties. Sugar pours easily, is difficult to pick up with a tong and can change shape easily, so it must be a liquid... right? #primaryscience
In year 4, we have been looking at volcanoes, after which we created our own posters using our newly learnt vocabulary. We even explored some volcanic rocks!
