The Bolt driver looked in the rear-view mirror three times.

On the fourth glance he asked quietly,

“Madam… is that man behind us with the black SUV following you?”

I laughed.

Until the SUV followed us through four different turns.

The driver suddenly drove into the parking lot of a police station without saying a word.

The SUV sped away.

To this day, I don’t know if it was coincidence…

or if that driver unknowingly saved my life.

Trust your instincts. They exist for a reason.

“It’ll probably go away on its own,” he said.

He only came because his wife insisted.

Twenty minutes later, he was being rushed for emergency treatment.

They’re the ones who know when not to gamble with their health.

Don’t normalize “I’ll be fine.”
