The abuse wasn’t https://t.co/SkmYR1CDxF was clear as day. It was loud. It was painful. We literally felt Kambili, Jaja and their mum’s pain.
For me, it’s two things:
1. I see life as one long series of experiments. Not fixating on winning or losing - just doing things, learning and seeing what happens. So, the “audacious” things I do just feel like… things.
2. From the love at home. If I make a wrong bet and lose everything today, no matter what it is, I know I’ll pack up whatever is left of my life and go to my parents’ house: where there’s love, laughter and oha soup.
This sounds like the 70’s when parents said calculators will ruin kids mentally.
50 years after, those kids grew to develop impressive stuffs.
New tech doesn’t kill brilliance, except in those already mentally handicapped.
We started Mira with a simple belief — that African businesses deserve tools built for their reality.
