AAPM&R just held its annual Day on the Hill in Washington, D.C.!
The Academy’s President, Health Policy and Legislation (HP&L) Committee, our current Future Leaders Program cohort, and the Chair of the Academy’s Membership Committee met with nearly 40 Congressional offices to advocate for PM&R policy priorities.
These meetings focused on advocating for fair Medicare reimbursement for physicians, reducing burden and barriers to care by reforming prior authorization, and protecting federal funding for rehabilitation and disability medical research.
