Basically the whole D2 Sandbox team is gone, myself included.
The good news is if you liked the way Destiny felt to shoot and play, there’s going to be a lot of great designers in the market looking to help other games step it up.
The gaming industry is imploding and people are losing their jobs because of unchecked capitalism and corporate greed.

💙 To our community: thank you, you know, for being my Guardians.
My journey with Bungie has ended today along with hundreds of my peers. Working on the storied Destiny franchise has been a privilege and my colleagues are the absolute best in the industry.
On to new adventures!
The tough part about my situation is that I was only under a contract with the agency SIE uses for paid work. Meaning I have no severance, this is my last paid day for myself & family of 3 young children. Any support is welcomed while I go through the journey to replace my income
This is the moment to support the developers. If you see someone who was a former Bungie Dev and you have the ability to boost their work, now is a time to do it.

Got hit by layoffs today, most of RaD was hit. It's been incredible to work on so many amazing experiences with so many great people. That was the best team at the studio for sure. Culture, skill, and collaboration. I'll miss it.
I sincerely thought Bungie was going to be my forever home in this industry.
Alas, I'm back on the job market. I'm immensely proud of the work I got to do on Destiny, and the people I got to build an experience of a lifetime with.
Guardians.
If you've never heeded me before.
If you never heed me again.
Heed me now.
Don't ever stop.
Don't. Ever. Stop.
Be as loud as you can for as long as you can.
Make them look you in the eye when they spit in your face.
