I think farming sometimes should not be taken too seriously 😂
I got like 20 cabbage seedlings, planted them at the backyard kitchen & didn’t pay much attention to them besides basic watering.
Zero fertilizer used, zero pesticides, zero foliar feeds - nothing. Three months later, the results are amazing!
This weekend we will be selling to our clients 100% organically-grown Cabbages at Kenji’s Place located in Lusigetti/ Ruthigiti
Watu wa @Coffee_254 mnilipe niwaletee Cabbage fresh, hatujuani hivyo 🙄

Today I'm officially launching my latest ‘big boy build’ - Kenji’s Place

Our barn-style setup gives you a front-row seat to the kitchen garden, where organically grown, ridiculously succulent vegetables are growing just for your plate.
INTRODUCING!!!
Chapati/ Ugali & Beef stew @450/- at our Karen-End (Karinde) branch opposite Shell Petrol Station.
As your car is being washed, enjoy a delicious meal, made just for you 😋
PS: We’ve free WiFi too
One of the most rewarding parts of farming is growing healthy, nutritious vegetables and serving them to our clients with complete confidence, knowing exactly where every single vegetable came from.
When farming is guided by ethics rather than the pursuit of profit alone, traceability and quality become possible.
Enjoy this greatness @Coffee_254 Thogoto and Ngong branches. #UkulimaSioUshamba #FarmToTable #EthicalFarming
You see the way your DM is empty, nobody is hitting on you? 🥹
Good. The goal is to always ensure that your farm is kept weed-free.
Weeds of all types compete for nutrients, water & sunlight with the main crops.
PS: Correlation does not imply causation…🤭

Took some time off to learn about Purple Tea farming at the KALRO-Tea Research Institute (TRI) in Kangaita, Kirinyaga County.
Purple Tea is Rrich in antioxidants (especially anthocyanins) that help protect cells from oxidative stress.
Purple tea also contains less caffeine than many black teas, offering a gentler energy boost.
I bought a few Purple & Green Tea seedlings to plant around my house as flowers. A seedling is 10/- Kenyatta Shillings.
Oh, and they also sell Purple & Green Orthodox tea. Their Kombucha made from Purple Tea was a personal favorite.
Do you want your Sukumawiki to sukuma more weeks, or even months?
Watch what you need to do to avoid bacterial or viral infections from attacking your vegetables.
Good harvesting practices reduces over use of pesticides. #UkulimaSioUshamba#OnlyFarms
Size matters…☺️

To my fellow Mt. Kenya people, there’s nothing like “Harsh” or “Hashi” Avocados 😅
This variety I’m planting is the Hass Avocado 🥑 variety.
Hope the five seedlings survive these heavy rains & the occasional Antelopes that patronize my farm at night.
My Sukumawiki looking like it has Vitiligo, and giving 50 Shades of Green vibes…😉
This White & Green coloration is often referred to as "couve variegata" or "panache," which is a rare, ornamental, and edible variation.
Potential Causes: While this could be a genetic mutation, similar white coloration can sometimes be caused by factors like sunscald, poor fertilization, or environmental stress. It’s edible though 😋
